After introducing the motifs, he let them resonate, giving the phrases a sense of depth and the cadenza a natural flow and authenticity. In the more intimate sections, his harmonics stood out beautifully, while the virtuosic passages were executed convincingly and with a strong sense of musicality.
It was not just a technically polished part but music in its full beauty."
